after much deliberation, i decided not to forego this year’s christmas cookie party, but i chose to keep it very small – and it was a fun time for those that were able to attend. i had been baking for several weekends already, so i had plenty to get us started.
right before party time, i started a batch of andes mint cookies – so yum! i really think these are my new favorite....
i had just a few crafts for the littlest kids - making paper snowflakes and decorating a packaged set of sugar cookies. they seemed to stay entertained with that for a while.
i knew better than to make activities for these rowdy teens....
and lots of cookies varieties....
everyone took home lots of goodies & i'm very glad i was able to continue the tradition this year.
