a beautifully chilly friday night game at home.....another tough loss.  we are so proud of little sister for playing nearly the entire game.  she only went out near the end with a cramp in her calf.  it it impossible to keep this girl down for long.

we are so, so proud of little sister!  in tonight's first district game, she played the whole first half as defender, started the second as midfielder, sat out for 10 minutes, then came back in and finished the game strong as a forward.  all in chilly 50-degree weather!

within the last 5 minutes of the game, she scored a goal!  it was their only goal, and it sure was sweet!  unfortunately they lost 1-4 but it sure was a great game to watch.

she was also the designated throw-in player, which kept her running off the field as well as on it!  i am certain she will sleep very well tonight!!

the last pre-season match resulted in a win 3-0 tonight.

little sister got to take the day off school to travel 55 miles to a weekend tournament.  unfortunately, they did not qualify to play again on saturday, but she still had fun playing and hanging with friends.

my first experience with making logo cookies.  tedious, repetitive, but the look pretty cool all grouped together when they are finally finished!

happy 2023!  i made this set with the only request that it be silver and white.  it's a little harder that i thought to be monochromatic - but i think they turned out great.
