monkeys win again!!

after thunderstorms last night, i was surprised to learn the fields were open - so off we went to the 11:30am soccer game.  the girls won 10-0.

then at 2pm, the monkeys won in 2 sets.

big sister's afterschool program hosted an art showcase today, and we got to see some of the masterpieces that she works on each day she attends.  she is so very talented!

little sister's choir had a performance for the parents tonight.  they went to contest earlier this week, and these are some of the songs they have been working on.

hoppy easter!

 we had a low-key easter this year.  we went to see beauty and the beast, which proved to be a very-uncrowded day at the movies. 

 then we had an indoor egg hunt.

all the other fun stuff - we did during spring break while we were in san antonio.

fusion v sweet feet, csm v little lobos

after some confusion on my part (i thought the soccer game started at 1pm but it actually started at 10am) - the girls ended up scrimmaging with the boys team because the sweet feet did not show.  so, they won in a forfeit 3-0.

then at 3pm, the csm walked away with another win in 2 sets.

spring art show

this year, big sister had a piece of art in the district art show.  she was very proud to show it off to us.  the drawing is all about our summer vacation road trip to yellowstone.

the weekly saturday routine changed slightly today - with volleyball up first, then soccer.  the monkeys won in 2 sets, and remain undefeated.

 

then they claimed another victory 2-1 at their soccer game.

another evening game - but not too bad for a thursday night.  the sun was setting and in our eyes most of the game, we but were still able to see the girls fight for another victory, 8-0.

i was chaperone for little sister's field trip today to the national videogame museum.  she and morgan had tons of fun!

another double-header today of sorts...first another tie 1-1 in soccer against the team they tied earlier in the season.  the team they are tied for first place with!  it was quite the nail-biter!

then, another win on the volleyball courts in 2 sets.  way to go, monkeys!
