big sister has been working on a group presentation as part of her final project for her english class.  daddy & i attended to show our support and see all the amazing work.  we are very proud of all that she has accomplished during her first year in college.

a 4-0 win on their home field today.  and they debuted their new white jerseys!

lilies in bloom

i've been watching the lilies bloom start to bloom....and tonight both girls were home long enough to snap some pics.  little sister has been refereeing several nights a week, and weekends are just one activity after another.  so it was nice to find a moment to continue our annual tradition.  my heart is happy!

v illusion

fusion wore a new color (again) today as they took on the illusion.  all the girls were giggly and goofy, but that didn't stop them from taking the win, 5-1.  little sister even scored one of those goals, after about 4 missed shots in the same minute of play at the goal.  of course, i never get pics of her scoring, just mostly got a few of her having fun.

just for fun

a few weeks ago, little sister came home talking about joining the powder puff football team, where the juniors take on the seniors as a fundraiser and for bragging rights.   she and a friend spent some time practicing tossing the ball, catching, etc.  and they have had weekly practices to perfect their strategy.

apparently, part of the team's strategy was using little sister's height to catch passes and long legs and speed to score touchdowns.  she scored twice, and the juniors were victorious over the seniors, 56-15.

i went from not knowing what design to make, to not knowing what colors to use, to a design i think turned out great!!  just 12 cookies in this set - but it has a big impact when arranged all together.

hoping the easter bunny brought them money...

but sadly all they found was chocolate and cascarones. :-(

meet & greet

big sister was in pure heaven this weekend as she got to meet many voice actors from the anime genre that she loves so much.  thanks to a great daddy for taking her on this adventure.
