opening weekend

 

little sister kicked off the new fall season of reffing today.  she'll be working 3-4 games per saturday if the weather cooperates for the next couple of months.

a few handcut shapes were required to make this set that needed to be almost identical to the inspo pic i was following.  it was fun mixing cutters that did not seem to go together to make this cohesive layout.

i only had about 48 hours notice on this set of 4 dozen.... what was i thinking??!

i tried to keep it simple and not overthink too much, because there was not time to do much of anything other than bake and decorate.  the invitation colors were subtle so fairly easy to match.

little sister joined her bf for a football game weekend in stilly, a fancy dinner date out at the atherton, and little moments in between.
