it was a somewhat short day of band competition today for the girls & me. with the contest only about 12 miles away, report time for rehearsal was 8:45am. the performance was at 2:15pm, and results were announced at 3:00pm.
they ended up earning straight 1's on the performance, which means they move on to the area contest in two weeks. after learning results, the truck was loaded and we headed home for the day, home in time for a nice dinner & early bedtime (for a change)!
