for the first time that i can remember, the band participated in pink out by wearing pink awareness ribbons. the students without hats (tubas and front ensemble) also wore bright pink bandanas. it was refreshing to see that pop of color among all the usual navy, gold & white.
the game ended in a loss, 48-44, taking the team record to 5-3.
