tiptoe thru the tulips

 the only other activity that i wanted to do over this year's spring break was to visit a local tulip farm.  after all the cold weather we had, i was happy to see that the farm was still on track to have a field full of blooms.  this was our first time, and it sure was a popular place today!  we waited in a car line for 20-30 minutes to even get into the parking lot, but once we were in and paid the $5/each admission, we were in business!!

there were so many varieties that i lost count, and kept finding a new "favorite"!!

of course, we could not resist posing with the gorgeous blooms!
