bouquet cookies

i went from not knowing what design to make, to not knowing what colors to use, to a design i think turned out great!!  just 12 cookies in this set - but it has a big impact when arranged all together.

meet & greet

big sister was in pure heaven this weekend as she got to meet many voice actors from the anime genre that she loves so much.  thanks to a great daddy for taking her on this adventure.

soccer sample cookies

i almost got a large order to do 200 mini cookies for little sister's soccer banquet.  by the time i dreamed up the designs and made a few samples, i learned that the board decided to go in another direction (hope everyone enjoys the italian ice...).  honestly, it's probably a blessing.  not sure how i would've done that many cookies in less than a month.  anyway, they sure turned out cute.  maybe next year.... ;-)

bluebonnets

one of my favorite traditions!  i have been tracking the readiness of our local bluebonnet spot for the past few weeks, and today it seemed ready as ever for our annual photo shoot. ;-)

as a special treat, grandma and her new puppy made a quick visit over the weekend.
