today was the last day of big sister's summer job. she has grown so much as a swim instructor and really enjoyed working with the little kids. she would always come home with stories about how this kids were crying for their mom during a lesson, but then she would distract them and make some progress. big sister has always had a special way with animals and now i am seeing that will little kids. her compassion and patience are a rare gift that i hope she continues to nurture and explore.
we are so proud of you, big sister!!
