another parade

big sister had to report to the high school today at 4:30pm to get ready for the town’s holiday parade to santaland at the beach.  they wore their marching uniform and santa hats.  the band rode a bus to the parade line-up area.  daddy and i sat along the street waiting for the parade to begin at 6pm. (little sister was at a friend's house for a sleepover.)  it was a fun first for us all to be a part of. after the parade, she was taken back to the high school by bus, where we picked her up and then got chinese take-out.  what a merry way to start off the holiday season!  this event also concludes the 2018 marching band season - woo hoo!!!  some days i thought we might never make it...lol!!
