18th birthday cookies

 i got a text on tuesday asking if i had time to make 2 dozen cookies for saturday........um, sure? she sent me this image as inspiration for her daughter's 18th birthday.

so i pulled out my trusty birthday candle cutter, cake, and name plaque, and when she vetoed the party hat shape in favor of a flower shape - that made the set even simpler.  i love the muted neutral colors with the gold - so bougie!!

recognition

our little town recognized the stellar accomplishment of winning the soccer tournament earlier this month by awarding them a certificate at tonight's town council meeting.  all the girls got together for a photo with the mayor.

3 dozen baseballs made so much easier by using silkscreen stencils.

winter concert

little sister's last winter concert showcasing holiday music was tonight

everyone put on a terrific night of music.

first little sister played with the symphonic band.

twenty carols in two minutes (bells)

all is calm (bells)

parade of the bumbling wooden soldiers (triangle & tambourine)

then she played in the last performance with wind ensemble.

i solemnly swear...

the potter fans in our house really enjoyed this!
