v comets

a hard-fought, come-from-behind victory to end the spring season! playing down a player meant no subs. thankfully there were 2 water breaks in the grossly-high humidity. these ladies came back after being down 0-2. and given the home-team bias of the officials, these girls just worked that much harder and smarter to maintain their #1 ranking in u19. awesome game to watch and photograph!!

soccer banquet

little sister and her teammates attended the end of season soccer banquet this evening.  even though most of her friends are on varsity, she does not let that stop her from being just one of the girls.  this crew has been hanging together and playing sports since early elementary school.  it is fun to see them all cleaned up for a change!

big sister has been working on a group presentation as part of her final project for her english class.  daddy & i attended to show our support and see all the amazing work.  we are very proud of all that she has accomplished during her first year in college.

a 4-0 win on their home field today.  and they debuted their new white jerseys!

lilies in bloom

i've been watching the lilies bloom start to bloom....and tonight both girls were home long enough to snap some pics.  little sister has been refereeing several nights a week, and weekends are just one activity after another.  so it was nice to find a moment to continue our annual tradition.  my heart is happy!

v illusion

fusion wore a new color (again) today as they took on the illusion.  all the girls were giggly and goofy, but that didn't stop them from taking the win, 5-1.  little sister even scored one of those goals, after about 4 missed shots in the same minute of play at the goal.  of course, i never get pics of her scoring, just mostly got a few of her having fun.
