happy last day

 
finally, the last day of junior year!  and such a good sport to recreate the photo for me ;-)

ice cream cookies

 i got a referral order today for a dozen last-day-of-school cookies.  it was fun to make icing colors based on sprinkles i already had - and i think i am slowly getting better at writing in icing!

band banquet

little sister and friends - livin' their best lives at band banquet. 

the theme was la la land, and everyone got a record keepsake to get signatures on.

i hung out with the moms that worked hard all year to make the program such a success.

and near the end of the night - i finally got a pic with my favorite percussionist.  

btw - she has on heels and that is why she is so much taller!!

one sun cookies

in the midst of knowing i had some large graduation cookie orders on the calendar, i excitedly agreed to make 3 dozen custom cookies for a lady i met on a social page and shipped them to her in north carolina.  she sent me exactly what she wanted with the freedom to adjust as i needed.  

i think they turned out great and she really loved them.

congrats to our nephew, the nuclear engineer - whoop!

of course, i had to gift cookies to the grad - from the best school ever!!

little sister has been practicing for the past few weeks and having extra rehearsals for drumline auditions for the next school year.

wants to be on drumline!  for reals.
auditions were last saturday, and finally today the results were announced.
