homecoming

this year's theme was "where the magic happens" - based on disney.  so our soccer/volleyball float was based on peter pan - pirates and fairies on a ship.  both girls decided to participate as fairies.  it was fun to see them dressed up.

 

 

 

fall festival

it's that time of year again....fall festival!!  this year, both girls made plans to meet up with friends.  it was so very humid and hot - like always - but a little part of me always holds out hope that some fall-like temps will arrive for this event.

volleyball opener

the cRaZy SoCcEr MoNkEyS are back on the court!  they had us worried today though, losing game 1....but they rallied and came back to win the match 2-1.  way to go, CSM!!

FC dallas game

tonight was association night at the FC dallas game.  each soccer player in our league gets free tickets and sits together in a section.  it was a beautiful night with a hint of fall weather in the air.  not a bad way to spend a saturday night!

lunch buddy

i took a break from working from home and had lunch with my favorite 5th grader.  of course, i did not realize it was also grandparent's day lunch, so it was especially crowded - but i didn't mind, and little sister was very happy!
